It was a new day in Los Angeles. The rain had stopped and I could see the sun rising. Lina had already left the appartment for school and I was lying in my bed while I was thinking about the days that had passed. I felt completely satisfied with my decision of going to LA. I loved the fact that it was nothing I had to do, just things I wanted to do. Susanne asked me if I wanted to join her for a walk. She had to take some photos for her school class so I got dressed quickly and we grabbed something to eat and went out. The sun was warm. Not cold like I'm used to. I hadn't felt the warm sun since september. The last summer was short in Sweden and I had been longing for it since then.




We went to Santa Monica beach. The day turned out to be as good as I thought it would be. The wind was cold but the sun warm. Some guys where playing volleyball at the beach. You could see tourists everywhere, just like myself, taking pictures. One of the things I liked the most about LA was the fact that it was surrounded by green mountains. Beautiful and breathtaking.

The lifeguards tower, which you can see at the fourth and second last image, always reminds me of baywatch, even if I only have watched it once or maybe two times as a teen. But there where no sexy lifeguards at the beach with red swimming shorts ;)










Susanne and I shared a delicious plate of nachos and chicken. It was a perfect way to end the day at Santa Monica beach. Thereafter, we went to Santa Monica University to catch up with Lina.
